Motorhomes

Our 4 and 6 berth vehicles are 2003 and 2004  model Volkswagens and are powered by VW’s renowned 5 cylinder 2.5 litre turbo Diesel engine which delivers power and economy (over 900km per tank of fuel) perfect for your New Zealand motorhome adventure. The 5 speed manual performs well on the hills and offers a very smooth and quiet drive.  The 2(plus) VW LT35 also has the 2.5litre turbo deisel engine and is very spacious.  Our 2 berth Campervans are Mercedes Sprinters (2001) and also run on deisel.

The vehicles have 12 volt and 240 volt power for the lighting and the 60 litre fridge, plus gas for the hot water and cooking. Our Motorhomes have certificates of self containment – required for camping outside of established motorhome parks. Be totally self sufficient with a fully equipped kitchen and good sized bathroom with shower toilet and handbasin. Fresh water capacity is 70 to 85 litres depending on the vehicle size.

Large windows provide you with a great view and assist with driving as you have a clear view to the rear. The vehicles are very easy to drive and after a few minutes you will feel just like you are driving the family car. You just need to be ever mindful of the extra width and the height of the vehicle.

The motorhomes can all be driven on a car licence.

6 Berth VW LT46

The layout of the 6 berth motorhome is perfect for a family or for a couple who want the extra space. The vehicle is easy to get in and out of and has a walk through cab for easy access. Rear and side double beds convert to seating during the day. Two dining table options.  There are seatbelts for 6 people in the vehicle and 2 child restraint points at the rear. The bed over the cab has an access ladder and safety net. The 6 berth motorhome has dual rear wheels for added stability.

4 Berth VW LT35

There is loads of room in this motorhome for a family of four or for a couple wanting a little extra space. The rear double bed converts to seating during the day. There are seatbelts for 6 people in the vehicle and 2 child restraint points at the rear. The bed over the cab has an access ladder and safety net.

2 Berth Mercedes Sprinter

These campervans are very tidy, well maintained and spacious and have access through from the cab. Both rear doors open wide for rear access and there is plenty of head room. A choice of two single beds or a spacious queen size bed.  There is a shower and toilet and a reasonable amount of cupboards.  Access is from the Cabin or Rear doors only
